Residential Program Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Residential Program Supervisor oversees the Substance Use Disorder Counselors, Drug & Alcohol Recovery Specialists, Medical Assistants, and other assigned staff members. They ensure the delivery of client care and treatment to California Recovery Center (CRC) clients.

The Residential Program Supervisor is involved in the acquisition of needed staff, training and development, onboarding, and offboarding. This also includes driver supervisory responsibilities, ensuring the efficient and effective management of CRC’s transportation operations.

Education & Training Requirements

  • At least a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position, preferably in the behavioral health/drug rehabilitation industry
  • Must be certified or licensed per California alcohol & drug counseling regulations (CAADE, CCAPP, CADTP, CADC II preferred) or hold a relevant professional license (LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, Physician, etc.).
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft tools and programs; KIPU EMR and CRM; and other platforms and tools used in CRC program/s and must pass a comprehensive background check.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Correct employee timesheets and issue approvals.
  • Document employee performance issues/progress, complete annual employee performance evaluations, and issue and enforce employee disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain a client caseload, conduct groups, perform case management, appointment scheduling, and upcoming concurrent reviews.
  • Supervise assigned staff in day-to-day operations, ensuring quality care is being delivered.
  • Perform chart audits multiple times during each week to ensure program requirements are fulfilled.
  • Ensure staff are qualified upon hiring and continue to be compliant and adequately trained throughout their course of employment.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources (HR) Department to ensure staff are trained, compliant, and successful.
  • Ensure 24/7 staff coverage for all programs.
  • Be available for after-hours consultation with staff and stakeholders, as needed.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule as staffing needs change.
  • Oversee day-to-day scheduling of operations, including coordinating client activities, groups, sessions, and daily/weekly scheduling in an organized and timely manner.
  • Assist in maintenance, cleanliness, and safe functioning of the treatment facilities.
  • Work as a team leader, working with staff to de-escalate situations and problem-solve when necessary.
  • May cover for a shift, in case of understaffing, to perform the function of a Counselor, Case Manager, Recovery Specialist, or Driver.
  • Other duties as needed.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
