California Recovery Center offers partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) as one of our care options for our patients. Our PHPs are established and managed by our healthcare professionals at our Roseville, California drug and alcohol recovery center.
UNDERSTANDING PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM
What is a Partial Hospitalization Program?
A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a form of recovery that requires a patient to attend therapy sessions onsite at a recovery facility, after which they return home. Like other outpatient programs, a PHP allows patients the freedom to access care without disconnecting from their daily lives. A partial hospitalization program requires patients to attend onsite group and/or therapy sessions onsite for about 30 hours per week. PHPs are a great option for those with moderate addiction issues, who do not necessarily need as intensive treatment as a traditional inpatient program would provide.

What Should I Expect from a PHP?
Like other recovery treatments, PHPs require the patient is ready to begin their recovery journey. Unlike an inpatient center, PHPs require more from the patient as far as self-monitoring. This is why we encourage those seeking PHPs as a rehab option to have a strong network of support before starting their program. Patients entering into this program should expect to attend therapy sessions 4 to 5 times per week for up to 8 hours a day. Like other patients at California Recovery Center, PHP patients will have access to our network of healthcare providers and staff support.

Once clients have detoxed from substances, our residential treatment program provides continued 24/7 care where clients are offered individual, group, family, and trauma therapy through an individualized plan.
AFTERCARE & ALUMNI
Once a client completes inpatient, the journey is just beginning. CRC Aftercare offers our alumni programming, continued treatment planning, sober living assistance, therapist referrals, and anything needed to sustain recovery.
