Nathan Desrys (left) and Lance Carson (right) represented California Recovery Center in the 30th Recovery Happens, which took place on September 7, 2022 at the west steps of the California State Capitol where thousands of attendees, including Sacramento County Behavioral Health Director Ryan Quist and actor Danny Trejo, showed their support for recovered patients of substance use recovery.
Held annually by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), Recovery Happens is an event that commemorates individuals undergoing substance use recovery as active positive agents in society.
California Recovery Center participated in Recovery Happens in order to advocate for the effectiveness of substance use recovery and show its support for recovered patients while offering to lend a hand to those who want to pursue quality treatment for substance use.
